BLOG T2 16

Queen Alex Wang,
  • When my apartment is all done up in holiday decorations, I sometimes consider leaving them up for the entire year.   The glittering lights and spicy scents are so welcoming, but I suppose it wouldn’t feel quite as appropriate in June.
  • Its epecially fullfilling to see a Starbucks christmas edition cup lying on the table.
  • Of course filled with tea, not coffee.
  • The Christmas seasonal shows help too.
  • Don’t get me wrong - I can put away Wheat Thins and Cheez-Its like it’s nobody’s business, but when it comes to fresh, just-out-of-the oven crackers, I’m a goner.  My mom made these last year and actually had to double the recipe since I polished off an entire batch before our dinner guests arrived.  I made them  this weekend and they were just as flaky and perfect as before…except for the fact that most of them remained glued to the baking sheet long after I took them out of the oven.
  • Note to self: add a couple tablespoons of water to the dough and grease the sheet so you don’t have to shove crumbly pieces of cracker into your mouth.
  • Today I'm attempting a Gingerbread house.
  • YUM-O!
